Description of the
techniques I use Bar Chart integrate with the Line Graph and viewing as one plot. This graph will going to show TOP 10 LOSER of the share. But this is different from the existing in the website. The differents of it are - this graph is more customize. It will show TOP 10 LOSSER for one of the category which selected by the user.
The following is example of the graph that show the top 10 Loser for Finance Category. The graph that show is a bit different if compare with the graph that show in the web, cause is only limit to Finance category. KLSE
Real Data :
2002_08_29
Another differents is there are 2 vertical axis
which represent by Change and
Example: MAYBANK with open value 9.00 drop (-0.050) [ratio: 0.5%] but RHBCAP with open value 1.21 drop (-0.030) [ratio: 2.7%]
even MAYBANK is
drop more but the ratio is less. This graph can let user more realize on
the share ratio. This ratio is important information for the investor when
they are hold a loser share. The following is opposite of the previous graph. This is TOP 10 GAINER for Finance Category.
Above is another form for investor to check the status of the share they bought. Investor have to input all the data before they can check the status of the share they bought. If the share is in profit margin, the bar graph will going to show the yellow color . Like about PBBANK share, now is in profit margin.
How to get know the yellow color bar $price_purchase_in $broker_rage = $price_purchase_in * 0.7% $contract_rage= $price_purchase_in * 0.04% $charges_in = $broker_rage + $contract_rage + $contract_stamp_in $total_price_in = $price_purchase + $charges_in
if the investor sell the share now with current last done price ($current_price) $currenc_price $broker_rage = $current_price * 0.7% $clearing_fee = $current_price * 0.01% $charges_out = $broker_rage + $clearing_fee+ $contract_stamp_out $totol_price_out = $current_price + $charges_out
if($total_price_out>$total_price_in) { yellow color bar will show }
Principle of Good Information
(Tufte) 1) Color - I use different color to represent each counter. The purpose is not to confuse the investor (compare with non-color chart). Additional, legend is use to make the user more understand and clear. Legend is generate regarding the code of the counter (by query).
2) Graphical Integrity - .The top 10 for each Category can let the investor compare the changing of the share value(+/-) and (%changing/Open Price). This is because the graph have 2 vertical axis (change and %change/Open Price). The integrity of graph can let the investor to have a proper comparison.
3) Multifunctioning Graphical Elements - Figure 3 can let the investor to know the changing share value, at the same time it also determine which share now is in profit margin. |
